The FHWA Privacy Policy discusses the types of information that the FHWA collects and stores when users visit the FHWA’s websites. In addition to the items addressed in the FHWA Privacy Policy, the following privacy information is provided for specific functions of the National Highway Specifications website (NHSW):

• An Administrative Login section is provided for users to upload new specifications, or delete or replace existing specifications. Access to the Administrative Login portion of the site requires users to register through the FHWA’s User Profile Access Control System (UPACS). During the UPACS registration process, the users name and contact information will be collected and stored on the system.

• An on-line NHSW Feedback link is provided for users to provide their feedback about the site. Feedback questions and comments will be emailed directly to the appropriate department or agency for response.

• A Discussion Forum is provided for users to share information and ideas. Any discussion topic submitted will be reviewed by a moderator and posted at his/her discretion. The posted message will include your name and email address if provided.
